Martin Harris (Equity/Spotlight, SAG)

    Martin Harris is a seasoned all around performer, drawing from a diverse background of training and natural gifts. As a BBC radio broadcaster presenting a music documentary programme he reported on America’s Bicentennial, Australia’s Bicentenary and the Olympics in LA. His distinguished voice brought him voice-overs; a series on American Radio Network in LA; radio plays with Hollywood Entertainment Radio Network; narration for a TV children’s program Grab Bag with Henry Winkler and the voice in a Mattel toy telephone as well as public speaking.
  
    Winner in the Song Writers of America Song Contest, Martin was lead singer in a Celtic band and has sung in clubs around the world.  He produced and presented concerts in Rochester Cathedral, Upnor Castle and masterminded the Mammoth Lakes Celtic Festival in California for five years where he also qualified as a ski instructor. His Morris Dancing roots evolved into twenty-five years of singing and dancing as the court jester at the California Northern and Southern Renaissance Faires.
  
    Albert Finney complimented Martin on his role as Mr Chairman in a weekly British Music Hall show on Sunset Strip in LA where Martin studied his craft as a Hollywood actor for ten years while chauffeuring the Stars in Beverly Hills. In contrast to this, back in England Martin played John Wesley on tour and currently plays Jesus in a large re-enactment of the Crucifixion every Good Friday.

    He has coached drama, played leads in plays, musicals and A Christmas Carol developing his role as Ebenezer Scrooge into a one-man-show to later star in San Francisco’s Great Dickens Christmas Fair, who fly him in from England every year.
