Own and operate freelance bookkeeping service, specializing in organizational computer-assisted bookkeeping, with research and accounts reconstruction using Excel spreadsheets, Quickbooks.

May 1991 - August 1994 Accounts Payable Clerk - Lynch, Marks and Associates

In charge of all accounts payable for ten million dollar computer firm using Accpac 6.1 accounting program (IBM-PC). Processing and payment of all incoming invoices, reconciliation of credits and RMA paperwork, reconciliation of insurance for payroll purposes and balancing of all accounts. Co-designed and implemented new multi-user RMA system utilizing Microsoft Excel.

Responsible for general bookkeeping of both performance and merchandising income and expenses, business taxes, coordination of performance, rehearsal and recording schedules, maintenance of inventory of merchandising and promotional materials, general promotion and correspondence.

In addition to reception and clerical duties, also responsible for collection calls, credit references, completing bank deposits and insertion/submission of ad copy to national magazines.

Responsible for auditioning and hiring of approximately 600 performers for the Renaissance Pleasure Faire, Dickens Christmas Faire and Old California Celebrations. Coordinated schedules for simultaneous performances on up to nine stages. Taught and maintained strict historical and professional standards for performers; provided similar services for guest performers, public relations events.
